2013-2017Miquiztetl

In Nahuatl, the native language of Central Mexico, “miquiztetl” means skeleton. For this series I’ve used the word for making reference to buildings and construction sites that were damaged during the 1985 earthquake of Mexico City, and which were left standing and abandoned.
