This series is based on an ancient story related to the practice of architecture: The Babel Tower. A few of the works are exploring ideas connected to the use of architecture as a power display. Others depict towers being destroyed. However, what becomes the main theme of the story in my interpretation of the text is the concept of failure of communication. This idea is hinted in the works that depict the typical telecommunication antennas that can be found in any present day city. But the idea of transmitting information is not only addressed in relation to the subject matter of these pieces, it is (above all) a topic that seems to question the nature of all my artwork. It is this concept, what brings together the landscapes with the drawings of Wikipedia screen shots.
